Job Responsibilities
The hours for this position are negotiable up to 24 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
• Conduct initial interviews with qualified applicants using the appropriate interview form and questionnaire.
• Make recommendations for second interviews and other follow up interviews as necessary or upon request with the Department Supervisor and Department Manager and/or Director, Personnel or other appropriate individuals.
• Visit Job Center Offices, including CareerLinks, in the Agency's service areas on a monthly basis.
• Represent the Agency at Job and Recruitment Fairs, attend special promotions, and visit trade schools, colleges and universities for recruitment purposes.
• Assist with mailings and job postings outside the Agency to promote recruitment efforts.
• Serve as liaison with outside placement agencies, such as Job Centers, PHEAA, colleges and universities, to arrange placement of students, interns and others seeking employment.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Federal and State laws relating to interviewing and recruitment efforts.
• Record and track the status of applicants on the applicant tracking system in accordance with department procedures
• Adhere to Agency confidentiality policies and procedures.
• Submit any completed Authorization for New Hire forms to the Director, Human Resources for processing.
• Send out No Thank You letters to all applicants who were interviewed but not hired.
• Upload resumes or completed application forms received via e-mail, CareerLinks, Job or Recruitment Fairs into the applicant tracking system
• Communicate information effectively in verbal and written form.
• Comprehend, record, carry out, and respond effectively to verbal and written information and instruction in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work as part of a team.

• Perform multiple tasks.
• Work with high degree of attention to detail.
• Work with multiple department managers and supervisors.

• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 20 pounds without assistance.

Job Requirements
Job requirements include:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field; or High School diploma/GED and 2 years recruiting experience
• Basic computer skills required, including word processing
• Must possess excellent organization and communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information in a responsible manner
• Must be able to travel throughout Armstrong, Butler and Indiana counties
• Must be able to work independently
